In this inspiring episode, we sit down with Stephanos Evangelides, a Cypriot lawyer and dedicated advocate for LGBTQI+ rights. Stephanos has been actively involved in Cyprus’ LGBTQI+ movement, first through the NGO Generation for Change CY, which supports LGBTQI+ migrants, and today as the Secretary of the Board at Accept.

We talk about the LGBTQ+ community in Cyprus: what has changed, what still needs to evolve, and why acceptance is more important than ever.

Stephanos shares his personal journey, addresses the misconceptions the community continues to face, and reflects on the moments that remind him that real progress is taking place.
